Phase One: Interview & Consultation
All in home training programs require the following prior to enrollment; application, phone interview, and a medical and lifestyle consultation.
Application– click the Apply Now button at the bottom of this section and fill out your application. Only complete and detailed applications received will reviewed and considered. Once your application is reviewed you will be emailed instructions for your next step. Included in your email will be a link to our online booking platform so you can schedule your phone interview.
Phone Interview– The reason our programs have the success rate they do is because we select our clients carefully. This is the whole reason behind our phone interview with a potential client. During the phone interview we will gage where you are now, where you want to be, and if you will get their quicker and more successfully with our system and support than without it. Therefore, we interview potential clients for the programs and are selective on who we enroll. We are not in the business of enrolling clients for the sake of enrolling them. We only enroll clients who are matched well so we can add them to our success stories. We want every person we work with to have a success story and invest a great deal in each individual to get them there. If you are a match for Ascension Fitness & Coaching®, we will book your Medical & Lifestyle Consultation.
Medical & Lifestyle Consultation– An Ascension Fitness & Coaching® Enrollment Specialist will come to your home or office and conduct a thorough medical and lifestyle evaluation. At this time, you will be completing a series of paperwork including but not limited to medical forms, lifestyle forms, goal setting forms, a release of liability, informed consent for program and services, and informed consent for fitness evaluation paperwork that is required for enrollment with Ascension Fitness & Coaching®.
Phase Two: Legal, Enrollment & Billing
Release of Liability & Informed Consent– At the completion of your Medical & Lifestyle Consultation your Ascension Fitness & Coaching® Enrollment Specialist will review our Release of Liability Form, Informed Consent for Program Form, and Informed Consent for Fitness Assessment Form. These forms are required prior to your Fitness Assessment and Training Program.
Enrollment Agreement– Our Ascension Fitness & Coaching® Enrollment Agreement outlines our program policies, procedures, terms & conditions, and billing terms.
Fitness Assessment– A series of exercises to help evaluate your overall health and fitness. There is a wide range of standardized tests used for these exams to establish if you are a qualified participant. This is a crucial starting point in the development and design of your exercise program.
Phase Three: General Guidelines
The client-trainer rules including but not limited to the following;
Client-Trainer Relationship– The client-trainer relationship is a unique one and should not be entered into lightly. This is one of the main reasons we have such a detailed enrollment process. We want to make sure that the potential client and Ascension Fitness & Coaching® will be a good fit. Due to the nature of this relationship its quite common for clients and trainers or coaches to develop feelings friendship or closeness. However, there needs to be a clear understanding from the start that this is a professional partnership.
Personal Hygiene & Clothing– All clients, trainers, and coaches are expected to wash and sanitize all gym bags, equipment, towels, clothing, mats, etc. prior to and after each training session. Clients are expected to be showered and wearing clean, appropriately (not too tight, not too lose) clothing and sneakers. During your consultations with your trainer or coach prior to the start of your program would be an excellent time to discuss proper training attire.
Home or Office Cleanliness– Your personal trainer will be cleaning all equipment brought into a session prior to after each training session. We ask that clients clean the area and any in home equipment dedicated to training session prior to and after each training session. Please keep training area clutter free for the safety of the trainer and yourself.
Schedule-We expect all our clients to prioritize their program and/service. We require you to be on time and ready to go for all your training sessions. Our trainers understand that we are all human and that on occasion something legitimate transpires to cause us to be late or unprepared. A pattern of persistent tardiness or frequent no-shows often denotes a lack of commitment, discipline, courage, and readiness for training. It impedes rapport building and slows down progress.
Ready to Work– Training is an active and involved process. You cannot expect to just enroll into program be a passive participant and still see results.
Honesty– The client-trainer relationship is designed to foster an honest dialogue. Without honest discourse and feedback, progress cannot be made.
Open Up– The more you open up honestly about your lifestyle and the challenges you face with your workouts, eating plans, mindset, and relationship the more progress you can make.
Phone– There is no place for cell phone use during a training session. You should not take or make calls, send or retrieve text messages, or check your social media accounts. Training and coaching sessions should be treated as a professional appointment.
